About Me
I was born Laura Elizabeth Hancock in Bryn Mawr, Penn. At the age of five I moved to Lilburn, Ga., a suburb of Atlanta. After elementary school, at the age of 10, I moved to Saint Charles, Ill.
During high school in Saint Charles, I was a member of the high school dance team known at the Saint Charles East Drill Team. My senior year I was co-captain of the dance team and choreographed one of our dance routines. This experience taught me about dedication, team work, time management and striving to achieve goals.
Through my school courses in public relations and my work experience, I have been able to study public relations, journalism and advertising in depth. I am excited to use my studies and work experience in my future career.
My family and friends are important parts of my life. Their support throughout my life has taught me about hard work, inspiration and success.
Using my experiences and knowledge has led me to find my niche in public relations at Auburn University. I am excited about my professional future using each and every one of my learning experiences.
